The Photographer | Henry Dullink
Living in the city center of Amsterdam and working at my studio next to the Vondelpark . On the streets always trying to get the camera into the scene: on a motor, walking, running, cycling, whatever. Eager to learn more about people & places.
At 17 years old, I got very interested in running. After being a policeman for ten years and competing at the police force in different middle distance track races, I got into the running business and founded the running franchise formula Run2Day. There I got in touch with sports photographer Peter Oey from whom I learned a lot. In 2012 I sold my shops/franchiseformula and switched 100% to my biggest passion: photography. At the same time I discovered cycling and got really enthusiastic about the multisport Run Bike Run. Quickly I became a Run Bike Run athlete, doing this in my age group on international level ( became World Champion in 2016). The best of both worlds: photography & sports.
call myself a sports photographer and I’m developing myself more and more into being an editorial photographer. Creative and artistic. The last years I’m also specialising into portret photography. Outside on the streets or inside my studio. Trying to catch the character into the image.
