Based in the heart of Amsterdam, with a photography studio next to Vondelpark, I work as a sports photographer, editorial photographer and portrait photographer. My work combines authentic storytelling with a creative and artistic approach, capturing people, athletes, brands and events in a natural and engaging way.

Whether I am photographing a marathon, cycling race, triathlon, corporate event or portrait session, I am always searching for genuine moments that reveal character, emotion and atmosphere. Living and working in Amsterdam gives me daily inspiration, while my assignments regularly take me throughout the Netherlands and internationally.

My passion for sport began at the age of 17 through running. After a ten-year career as a police officer and competing in middle-distance athletics, I entered the running industry and founded the successful Run2Day franchise. During this period I met renowned sports photographer Peter Oey, who became an important mentor and inspired me to pursue photography professionally.

In 2012, I sold my businesses to focus entirely on photography. Around the same time, I discovered cycling and the multisport discipline Run-Bike-Run, eventually becoming Age Group World Champion in 2016. This unique combination of elite-level sporting experience and professional photography allows me to understand athletes, competitions and sporting culture from both sides of the camera.
